Storing for Freshness

Enjoy Within 2-3 Days: For the best flavor and texture, enjoy your sourdough while it’s fresh.

Use a Paper Bag or Bread Box: Store your bread in a breathable paper bag or bread box to keep the crust crisp and the inside soft.

Avoid Refrigeration: Never store sourdough in the fridge—it can dry out faster and lose its signature texture.

Freezing for later

Freeze for Later: Sourdough can be frozen for up to 6 months. Store it in a sealed bag to prevent freezer burn. For easier use, slice the bread before freezing.

Reviving Frozen Bread:

  1. Thaw at room temperature for the best texture.
  2. Toast frozen slices on the defrost setting for a quick refresh.
